Sanctuary Part 5

This is Pastor M D Lewis speaking on the subject of the Sanctuary.  I want to start with our very favorite text in the book of Exodus 25:8-9, in verse 1 “and the Lord Spake to Moses and said.”

verse 8 “Let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them. Now you recall that we emphasis the fact that it says “let them make me a sanctuary,” referred to the people. The people of Israel in general and to Bezaleel and Aholiab, two men that God chose to lead out in the direction of the fashioning of the building “Let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell,” now the “I” refers obviously to God, to Christ and he will dwell among them.  I cannot over emphasize the fact that this text reveals the key that unlocks the mysteries of the Sanctuary and that is that God in the person of Christ is going to dwell with the people, and as I have said before, do you think of him dwelling somewhere down the street, or in the apartment upstairs, we must think of him dwelling in our lives in a closer manner than any human relationship we have, and we illustrated that previous lectures.  Then it says in the 9th verse “let them make me a Sanctuary according to all that I will shew thee, after the pattern of the tabernacle, and the pattern of all the instruments thereof, even so shall ye make it.” The Sanctuary was made after a pattern, very, very likely he gave Moses a blue print of the most definite details as to how wide the altar of sacrifice should be, how long it should be, how high it should be and very likely drew a pattern to show that the horns were to be placed right on the corner, and all that detail.  But the word pattern in this particular text is also the word used in the first chapters of Genesis when it says and God made man in his image.  Now the word image and the word pattern in this text are the same word, to give you the idea that it was not necessarily a penciled drawing of a blue print but more of an actual model or pattern, an image of the Heavenly sanctuary that he also gave Moses in the mount.  So he not only gave him a detailed, as we would say a blue print, of every piece of furniture and perhaps maybe more than one blue print on each piece of furniture, but he gave him a pattern or a model or a image of the whole building so he could see what it would look like when it was finished and that of course was very significant.  But you understand that even the blue print, even the image is not the real thing.  The whole purpose of the Sanctuary is to reveal the result of the character in the life of the individual as he would associate with the intimate relationship with Christ dwelling in his life.  Now that is the real sanctuary, so it would be well for me to point out to you that when we are talking of the Sanctuary in the sense of this model, you should keep in mind the other sanctuaries, the one I spoke to as referred to in the Gospel of John the 2nd chapter 19 and 21 when Christ said “I am the Sanctuary” destroy this temple and I will build it in three days, they did not understand he was talking about his person.  So all the time we are speaking here about horns on altars, the laver, the candlestick and the different apartments and the colours in the veils and so forth, we are really speaking to the characteristics in the life of Christ that he brings into our lives by the intimate association with us.  So when we are talking of a model of the Sanctuary as we have here displayed, the real Sanctuary is the character of Christ in humanity.  Now there is the Great Sanctuary beyond this, and you must also keep this in mind, so turn with me to the book of Hebrews, that great master stroke of the Apostle Paul and let us look at some of the verses of this master of Theology.  The book of Hebrews the 8th chapter and verse 1 “Now of the things we have spoken this is the sum:” Now you see this is quite a direct statement and a very important statement, for this great theologian says of the things we have spoken, this is the sum, that is you draw the line and add it all up and this is the answer you get, “This is the sum; we have such an High Priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in Heaven: a minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched and not man”   Now right here is a little phrase that you must become acquainted with and it points out a very definite and distinct factor, you recognize, we’ve emphasized over and over the men of the earth, God chose Bezaleel and Aholiab and they employed others of his relatives to build this Sanctuary.  It was obviously made with the hands of men, but this particular text is emphasizing a very distinct point, it says the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched and not man.  Now this has a very significant aspect to it and I want you to direct your thinking towards this, this building was made by men, and it represented the lives of men, for you recall in 1 Corinthians 3: 16-17 know ye not that ye are the temple of God, referring to man, but this particular text says the tabernacle not made with hands, that God had it fashioned in heaven.  Now there is more to this than that it refers to the fact that the temple not made with hands or the tabernacle not made with hands, that is made by the hands of God, is indicating that what God is doing in your life is not with your hands but with his.

So when it says that this tabernacle was built not with hands, that is of Heavenly structure it is directing your thinking to the fact that your character is built by the hands of God, so to speak and not yours, because the word hand in Hebrew “yad” is the word for power.  And many times in the Old Testament when the word power is indicated in the King James, it is actually coming from the word yad which is hand in Hebrew.  So when we speak of hand we can speak of power so the Tabernacle not made with your hands means not with your power obviously.  The Sanctuary in Heaven is constructed with the hand of God or the power of God, and if God does not have his hand in our lives to fashion our character we are of all people most despicable and the whole revelation of the Sanctuary is that God is in the building, and that’s what makes it divine and that’s what makes the plan of Salvation a success.  So this term “sanctuary not built with hands” indicating it was constructed by the hands of God means that God is carry out the power and is developing the attributes of love and righteousness and holiness in the life of the person, and that is the great revelation of the sanctuary. So the person, though he may become, and must become, familiar with the structure of the earthly sanctuary he must always keep in mind that what was done here in symbol was done in reality in the Heavenly Sanctuary. Now that’s what Paul is endeavoring to get across in this particular book, so he says the minister of the sanctuary of the true tabernacle which the Lord pitched and not man.  For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices wherefore it is of necessity that his man have somewhat also to offer, for if he were on the earth he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law.  Now Christ was of the tribe of Judah, and the High Priest, which I have dressed in resemblance, is of the tribe of Levi.  So if Christ were a priest on earth he is of the wrong tribe, but because he is of the tribe of Judah which is the tribe of Kingship.  His Kingship in the tribe of Judah is preparing him for the Melchisedec Priesthood and he speaks of that in the book of Hebrews the 7th chapter and he says in verse 1, “for this Melchisedec King of Salem, Priest of the Most High and he says that this word Melchisedec first being interpreted, King of Righteousness, (Verse 2).  Now Melek(4428) is King in Hebrew, and tsedeq [tseh-dek](6664) is righteousness and you put these two words together and you get Melchisedec, which is king of righteousness.

Now if he is a king he must come from the tribe of Judah and that’s the tribe that Christ came from.  So the Melchisedec Priesthood is of the tribe of Judah and that’s the tribe of which Christ descended from and he is a righteous King because of his accomplishments in that particular achievement, he is also called the King of Shalom or the King of Salem, the King of Peace, that is the King who makes Peace with the great epic of sin in the world.  So Christ is the only one that qualified and it says, and this is the sum, we have a sanctuary in Heaven and we have a Priest in the Heavenly Sanctuary and he will carry out the work of our Salvation, and this is something we must never forget that he is working in behalf of the accomplishment of our character in the Heavenly Sanctuary and for that fact it will be a success, and we must confidence in it.  Now notice in the book of Hebrews the 9th chapter I am reading from verse 23-24 “It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens” [ now the patterns were these particular models of the different pieces of furniture and the earthly sanctuary this is the pattern of the things of the heavens] “should be purified with these:[that is with earthly sacrifices of the animals blood ] but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.  For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, [now you understand there was an occasion when Christ did enter into the sanctuary made with hands, as it says in the second chapter of John, he went into the sanctuary court, which was this particular area here and found money changers and merchandising desecrating the temple of God and he had them cast out.  So Christ did as far as the earthly sanctuary enter into the court, but because he was of the tribe of Judah he was not allowed to go into the Holy Place and certainly not into the Most Holy Place.  So in a sense he went in to the earthly Sanctuary but not as a Priest, only as a Rabbi and a Teacher of Israel, but having accomplished in his life the meaning of the Sanctuary and its perfection then he ascended into Heaven as it says] Vs 24 “For Christ is not entered into the Holy places made with hands which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:”

Now that should be a great revelation to every one of us, that as you see the work of the priest in the earthly sanctuary uniting himself in the altar with the people, offering his words of righteousness to wash our minds from the iniquity of sin and then in the Holy place to bring us into a personal relationship with him to achieve in our conduct the attributes of the Love of God as revealed in the 10 commandments, and in the event that we don’t come up to it fully and completely he is always supplementing our necessities of perfection to keep us up to the quality of the gold walls of the 10 commandments, and then to take us into the throne of his Father and make the final atonement is certainly a beautiful revelation.  So it says Christ is not entered into the holy place made with hands which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us.  Now this is one of the great revelations of the Sanctuary , that Christ has formed a oneness with God and in his humanness he has established a oneness with us and with that marvelous connection he, after his ascension went into the Heavenly Sanctuary and of course began the services in this apartment.  Now this is very important for you to see, you recognize that in the earthly sanctuary that Moses built, which is the model that we here present, that the court was covering a certain portion of the earth, or a certain piece of Real Estate in the land of Palestine, obviously because they moved it from place to place, but wherever they set it up this white wall which was probably 150×75 feet wide was covering actually a portion of Palestine of the land of Canaan and the priests came into this apartment and when Christ was upon the earth and came into the court, he came into the portion of the sanctuary that was covering a certain portion of the land in Jerusalem of the Temple.  I want to emphasize the fact that this was on the earth, and Christ walked in and the people came in and this was the only portion of the sanctuary where the priest and the people met, and here Christ met with the people and mingled with them, as we said the other day, this word means helpmeet (wife) or a great helper with Christ.  Now in the great book Desire of Ages speaking of his cleansing the sanctuary it says that the priests and the other rulers were, because they were involved in the merchandising, they fled from the court but the common people stayed, they had no reason to leave, and he gathered them about him and he taught them the plan of salvation and showed them how God was uniting with them in this place, and they must have thrilled with his explanation, and then it says he healed every one of their diseases, for they saw that he was their helper (and the word is capitalized) in the book the Desire of Ages, now you understand the word helper is the word in Hebrew for this court, so Christ met them here, he labored for them, he healed their diseases, he brought the glory and the joy of heaven into their lives through his person as he met with them in the court.  So this portion of it was on the earth, the people came here and Christ met them there.  After his crucifixion and ascension to heaven, then he entered this particular apartment (Holy Place).  So this apartment, although it was built on earth as this model shows, the meaning of it was in heaven.  So the only portion of this sanctuary that touched the earth was the court.  These two apartments were in Heaven, that’s why the people could not enter, because they could no more enter here than they could enter Heaven itself, so God is going to prepare them in these two apartments to enter into Heaven itself.  So the Melchisedec Priesthood, after Christ’s ascension, now begins to take up its activity in this particular apartment (Holy Place).  Now I hope I made myself very clear that the reality of this apartment never occurred on earth, the reality of this apartment is in the sanctuary not made of hands, that is to say not of this building.  So Christ in his Melchisedec Priesthood entered into the Heavenly Sanctuary and in as much as it is the Mel-chisedec “King” then the purple stripe of this door as you see is very very important so the purple stripe in this door represents the melech or the perfection of the Royal Kingship of David in the person of Christ, that he is now preparing you in a very special way in the Heavenly Sanctuary, not made with hands, to prepare you in the royal relationship with David to become a King and reign with him throughout eternity.  Now to reign with him you must be a King of the quality of the righteousness of Heaven and as we have said, that is exactly what this apartment is doing (Holy Place).  So the purple stripe in that door indicating the symbolic activity of this apartment is to prepare the individual in his Royal relationship with David and the Kingship of Heaven.  Now in the event that you put forth an effort by the power of the Holy Spirit, and I want to point that out to you, Oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit, there is oil in this bread, when they made the bread they mixed oil in it as you might understand, so this bread has oil in it, of course it’s obvious that the candlesticks are there burning and burning from oil, so the oil of the Holy Spirit is an essential factor that your light may shine so that men may see your what? Your good works, and glorify your Father which is in Heaven.  It’s only by the power of the Holy Spirit that the person is able to prepare his life in the Royal Lineage of David to become a king’s reign with Christ and become a melek(4428) tsadaq(6663), the King of Righteousness. Now on the altar of incense the incense that they burned, and the Holy aspects of that piece of furniture also involved the Holy Spirit for it says, we pray by the Holy Spirit.  So this is the chamber of the Holy Spirit(Holy Place), as that is the chamber of Christ(court), and this is the chamber particularly of God the Father the Most Holy Place.

So when Christ having lived a perfect life on the earth in the court and was resurrected, ascended into the Heavenly Sanctuary in this apartment (Holy Place), he sent the gift of this apartment down to the saints on earth, which was Pentecost, as recorded in the book of Acts, so he gave them the gift of this chamber, which is the Holy Spirit as I have mentioned, and it came down upon them and began to prepare their lives and as you know on Pentecost a number of people were led to God and were converted.  So Christ entered into this apartment of the heavenly sanctuary and this apartment is preparing the person in sanctification by the holy Spirit to be prepared to go into the Most Holy Place where the Throne of God is in Heaven where they will be accepted to sit with Christ upon his throne as he records in the book of Revelation the 3rd chapter ans verse 21 which I read the other day, as Christ said “he that overcometh I will grant him to sit with me in my Fathers throne.”  Now this is a very distinctive honor that God is offering to the redeemed of this earth.  It almost overwhelms us to believe that the God who can create the billions and billions of stars and planets and worlds would condescend to take the redeemed of this earth, who were one time rebels against him and gave indication of unholiness and selfishness that he would take them after they had been modified, after they had been recreated in the likeness of his character, to grant them to sit with him on his throne to become a part of the management of the universe.  In fact the breast plate is directing the revelation of this particular fact, now a breast plate in the armament of the people of the time of Christ it was made of little pieces of metal sewed on cloth to protect the person from missiles and from injury in battle, it was a breast plate to protect him.  Now God is not going to make a metal plate for himself to protect himself from and particular onslaught, he will protect himself with the jewels which represent the redeemed of this earth.  Now how could it be said that God would take the redeemed of this earth and put them in a breast plate to protect him.  Now we know that Lucifer was an Angel, we know that Adam and Eve were created in the image of God and they were involved in sin.  So to protect God throughout the ceaseless ages from a reoccurrence of a Lucifer or an Adam and Eve falling in sin, he will take the redeemed of this earth who have been redeemed by his unselfish exhibition on Calvary and his love of uniting himself with them in the revelation of the Sanctuary and restoring them into the perfectness and the Holiness of godlike character and use them as evidence of what God would do if sin should ever come into his universe.  So that never again will this occur, the redeemed of this earth will be the protecting factor and it is in this particular apartment that he is achieving in their life the holiness that will be the protecting agency against sin ever occurring in his universe again.  Now you remember the text that I quoted in Hebrews the 2nd chapter and verse 11 “he who sanctifies and they who are sanctified are all one.”  Now it’s this oneness in this apartment (Holy Place) that is being accomplished by the Holy Spirit that brings the person or the believer, who believes in the sanctuary and its administration into the sanctification, the holiness of God.  Now when I say sanctification you understand that’s the same word in Hebrew “qadash(6942)[kaw-dash]” for the whole building, the Sanctuary or the holiness and here is where God is bringing up the conduct and the character of the actual activity of the saint to the sanctuary, to the Holiness of the character of God, and in the event that the person day by day does not accomplish it fully and completely, the priest is always supplementing your character to represent the complete holiness of the gold walls that surround this particular area.

Here I should quote to you, to me, the greatest text in the Bible 1 Kings 14:7-8  David kept my commandments, he followed me with all his heart, he only did that which was right in mine eyes, now had that been the record of Joseph or had it been the record of Daniel you probably would have been a little hard put to be able to find any great deviation from righteousness in the life of Joseph or in the life of Daniel, but when they said that about David there are tremendous records in the Bible of his departing from the righteousness of God.  The case of Bathsheba, numbering of Israel, lying to Achish the King of the Philistines these are some of the most flagrant and outstanding iniquitous demonstrations in the life of David.  But when he was all over and this text in 1 Kings 14 was a record of his life or a reference to his life 100 years or so after he was dead, so what they are saying, they’re saying about him when the whole thing is over, as far as his life on earth is concerned.  He kept my commandments, it’s obvious from time to time, he did not, he followed God with all his heart, that is at times he did, and there were certain times his heart was not following God, and there to put the last statement on it, it almost seems incredible that the prophets would even write under the inspiration to say he only did that which was right in mine eyes.  Now that particular statement is an explanation of the text that we referred to the other day in 1 John 3:9 “whosoever is born of God doth not sin”, and so if you take the record of David as I have referred to it appears as he never sinned, he only did that which was right in the sight of God.  So from that statement you have to conclude he was a sinless person, now this could be said of him because of the function of this particular Holy Place on the earthly sanctuary that was referring to what was actually being accomplished in the life of the saint in the Heavenly Sanctuary.  Now let me show you in the book of Revelation how this was very distinctly referred to in the 8th chapter of the book of revelation, it speaks about this Heavenly Sanctuary in a very realistic way and it says as the record indicates, Revelation 8:3 “and another Angel came and stood at the altar having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, now it’s obviously the Angel was standing somewhere in this position in the Heavenly Sanctuary (on the north side of the altar of incense) and it mentions this heavenly altar and the altar of incense in heaven was just as real as this particular piece of furniture we have here which is only a model.  The Hebrew people always teach with the realistic physical feature to bring about the spiritual interpretation.

So there must have been some actual altar there of some construction and says and he offered much incense that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne (before the veil into the Most Holy Place).  Now it’s before the throne in the sense that this piece of furniture is the closest piece of furniture to the Most Holy Apartment which is the throne of God.  So the Angel is functioning here and the prayers of the people on earth which are represented as incense, which I mentioned the other day as the incense that would burn here it would go up over the curtain and into the Most Holy Place which is the Throne of God.  So the prayers of the saints as they prayed to God for forgiveness, as they prayed to God to establish the righteousness of Christ in their life, for it says without faith it is impossible to please him, faith is the substance of things hoped for, what we are hoping for is the character of Christ and the substance of it is the Holy Spirit of this apartment.  So with the substance of the Holy Spirit we begin to give evidence of what we are hoping for, which is the character of Christ.  And this evidence ought to become more and more like the character of Christ, but in any case Christ is always supplementing the character of the saint’s endeavors by the Holy Spirit to obey the Law, he’s always supplementing their lack so that complete sanctification is recorded to them although in their conduct they have not accomplished it.  Now here again I want to iterate these two apartment s and the difference of the righteousness between them.  In this apartment (the Court) which is on the earth Christ gives you his perfect character, you don’t warrant it, you have done nothing to aid or accomplish it, he just gives it to you and credits it to you as if it were yours.  In this particular apartment he gives you sanctification (Holy Place) and credits it to you as if it were yours, so the perfection there is justification, or righteousness by faith, and this is sanctification which is also by faith, as it is recorded in the book of Acts the 26th chapter verse 18 “to open their eyes , and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” so the door into the court is the door of faith, which we mentioned the other day, and this door is nothing less, it is the door of faith that if you come into the relation with Christ by the Holy Spirit he will feed you with the bread of heaven, he will cause your life to shine as a light and if you fail in coming up to the absolute perfection if you will offer your prayers by the Holy Spirit the Angels in Heaven as we have read will answer them and God will see to it that in the Temple not made with hands he will see that your character is advancing in the accomplishment of sanctification.

Now I want you to see that it is no less in the last apartment in the heavenly Sanctuary, now you know the text in the book of Daniel the 8th chapter in which he makes the observation in the 14th verse “Unto 2300 days, then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.”  The sanctuary shall be cleansed, now I want to bring this text up and we shall discuss it further in a later study.  Now I want you to read the setting of this text, “then I heard on saint (Daniel8:13) speaking and another saint and said unto that certain saint [or that certain angel which was Christ], how long shall be the vision concerning the daily, [now notice particularly what the Angels are discussing, how long shall be the vision concerning the daily, now let me point out specifically again this particular word “Daily” it is yowm-d-yowm(3117) in Hebrew, that is day by day or it is tamiyd(8548) in Hebrew which is continually and those particular terms yowm-d-yowm and tamiyd which means daily or day by day is applied to that piece of furniture which is the bronze altar, it is applied to this particular furniture which is the laver it is applied to this particular piece of furniture which is the table of shew bread it is applied to the candlesticks it is also applied to this altar of incense, both of those terms referring to a continual daily service is applied these five pieces of furniture that I have referred to, so when the Angels are discussing they are discussing how long shall be the vision concerning the court of the daily and the Holy Place of the daily, how long shall this go on.  Well, the Angel said unto 2300 days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.  Now the cleansing of the sanctuary was the specific operation of the Most Holy Place as we have discussed before.  Now you understand what the angels are discussing, how long shall be this vision concerning the daily functioning which is righteousness by faith in a sense of justification and sanctification.  Now how long shall this go on, well, he said unto me unto 2300 days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed, now this word cleansed comes from the word tsadaq (6663) in Hebrew Mel-kis-e-dek (3198) so the word attached to the Melchisedec tsadaq and this particular statement here of the cleansing is the same word in Hebrew.  Now it just happens to be this is the only place in the Bible that this word is interpreted cleansed, but that doesn’t do the word and the interpretation here any harm, for if the sanctuary is clean, it certainly is righteous, and if the sanctuary is cleansed from sin it certainly would be justified or tsadaq or righteous.  So the fact that this is the only place that this word is so interpreted does not do any harm to the word or its use in this particular text.

So they are discussing how long shall this daily should go on and on and on in the symbolic   meaning in the Heavenly Sanctuary, why he said there is still another apartment and at the end of the 2300 days they will take up this particular apartment and cleanse it.  Now you must understand that the Day of Atonement, which is the 10th day of the 7th month, gives you the time of year of the work in the Heavenly Sanctuary in the last apartment.  That clear to you, the Day of Atonement, which is specifically mentioned in Leviticus the 23rd chapter and also the 16th chapter that it took place on the 10th day of the 7th month. Now that gives you the time of year, the 2300 days which represents 2300 years gives you the year in which the heavenly sanctuary will commence the work of cleansing.  So putting the prophecy of the 2300 days together with that of the Day of Atonement we have specified time that this door was opened in the heavenly sanctuary (Most Holy Place veil) and the services began.

Now when Christ was crucified and ascended to heaven he went in and sat down with the Father on his throne, it is obvious in the Bible that there was also a throne in this particular area (Holy Place) and it was finally moved into the other (Most Holy Place) in 1844.  So if there is a question about whether Christ went into the Most Holy Place after his ascension it is positively stated in the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy.  But his going in there and sitting with the Father is something different than carrying on the services revealed symbolically in the earthly sanctuary.  Now it is reasonable to believe that Christ went into the Holy Place and associated with the Father, but the prophecy of Daniel concerning the judgment and the final sanctification, has to do with the services in the Heavenly Sanctuary that are a fulfillment of the symbolic services of the earthly sanctuary.

So whether Christ went in to sit with the father before that time or not is quite incidental, it is obvious from the Bible, he did, that the revelation of the sanctuary indicates as the Angels were discussing, how long shall these two apartments of the Daily be functioning, why he said unto 2300 days then they shall take up the cleansing in the last apartment.  Now we know that is the case in the scripture as it says that he saw the Temple of God in Heaven, it opened up, in the book of Revelation the 11th chapter and notice 19th verse “and the Temple of God was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in his temple the Ark of his testament:” which is the piece of furniture that we have symbolized here where the 10 commandments were kept in the earthly sanctuary and there is no doubt there is some record of the 10 commandments in the Heavenly Sanctuary in the Ark and there must certainly be a revelation in the heavenly sanctuary that the Ark containing the 10 commandments, the Love of God, is so arranged to show that it is the foundation of the throne of God, it is the foundation of the Government of God, now you recall the text that I read in a previous study here of 1 Kings 8:12- where it says the person must commit himself to the Law of God before the Priest can carry out the function of the word of the revelation of the Sanctuary in regards to their life.

Now the reason for that as you see as the text I read in Psalm 65:4 says the person is approaching God from through the court and through the sanctuary, he is approaching God, he is approaching God on his throne in the heavenly sanctuary, which is substantiated and based upon the 10 commandments.  So a person’s commitment to the 10 commandments is an absolute essential factor in the saint moving through the significance of the sanctuary.  It is represented by the gold wall, and you understand that the gold wall not only furnishes a wall for this apartment, the same gold wall affords a wall for the Most Holy Place.  So the sanctuary is approaching God and his love through the administration of Christ’s association with you and he will take you all the way through, and the beautiful thing is that there is a sanctuary in Heaven of which this is only a model, not built with hands, has nothing to do with mans power it has to do with the power of God, and if you will commit yourself to Christ to follow him, if you will commit yourself to the revelation of his Law which is his love to you and you have confidence and faith in him, he will take you through all these doors and will finally bring you into the last apartment in the Heavenly Sanctuary which is actually the Throne of God.

Now here comes the great final destiny as revealed in the sanctuary of the possibility of the Human Soul.  That God will finally redeem that person into the full aspects of the character of God’s love and then invite that person to come and sit with him on his throne.  Now you remember John the Revelator in the book of Revelation depicts the Saints of this earth in this particular apartment, so let me call your attention again to the 15th chapter of the book of Revelation and it says “and after that I looked and behold the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened and he said I saw verse 2 as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire and them that had gotten the victory over the beast and his image and so forth, I saw them standing on the sea of glass having the harps of God.  Now this was before the throne of God as it says in the 7th chapter of the book of revelation and I beheld, Vs 9, and lo a great multitude which no man could number of all nations kindred tongues and people stood before the Throne and before the Lamb clothed with white robes, the perfection of God, so finally John sees the redeemed after the work of the Judgment was finished and the cleansing of the Sanctuary the establishment of tsadaq (6663) or cleansing or righteousness they finally come to this apartment (Most Holy Place) and if their lives did not fully accomplish sanctification in the Holy Place the High Priest will present them before his father in his character wiping away all their sins which he has died for upon Calvary which is the altar in the court and will place the blood upon this lid and they will be absolutely as perfect as if they had never been involved in sin.  And then to reward them for the accomplishment of their relationship in the Royal Family of the purple stripe all the way through, he will then welcome them to come up and associate with him on his throne in the government of the universe and as you know the Heavenly Jerusalem shall descend and the Mt of Olives shall be flattened out and the Holy City shall come down on that place in the close proximity where Christ died for the sins of the world, and the saints redeemed by the sanctuary, not made with hands, will then be welcomed to reign with Christ upon his throne throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.  Does this appeal to you? Does gracious mercy, does this gracious honor that God would choose you, having been sinners and rebels against his Government, but now reconciled through Christ and his blood and the Holy Spirit will welcome you to reign with him throughout eternity because you will become his breastplate to protect, that sin will never rise up again the second time.  Would you like to become one in the Royal Family of God, to be of that service as it says in the writings of the church “what God has for you to do in Heaven is greater than anything he had assigned for you on this earth.”  And the Sanctuary is the revelation; without the Sanctuary and its aspects in the Bible one will not have a very deep comprehension of the scripture for the whole thing is based upon this revelation of the sanctuary from the book of Genesis to Revelation as we have seen.  Ye Saints of the Most High God trust in him and he will take you through and honor you to reign with him throughout the ceaseless ages of eternity.  Does that appeal to you,??
